Join two solids rhino for mac5/5/2023 I would appreciate any advice, because I am working on a project that is due soon and so far I cannot create any more solids, no matter what I try. I tried to add the two solids together and got an 'Unknown Error' so I moved the cross piece into the forcing cone away from the body and it worked, I judged that the many surfaces of both the cone and body just overwhelmed the 'Add Solid' tool. However, certain Rhino commands such as boolean. A mesh is a useful entity when it comes to defining geometry of an object. ![]() I even tried putting some of my previous solid extrusions on a different layer, turning that layer off, and using the curves I made the solid extrusions from, so I know for sure I should be able to create a solid from these curves, to try extruding from again. This plug-in gives Rhino to ability to convert a mesh into a solid. The opening did not have closed, planar loops of edges." even though I am most definitely extruding closed curves. I try to cap the object, but it says "unable to cap object. A single surface can wrap around and join itself. Rhino creates single-surface solids, polysurface solids, and extrusion solids. Solids are created anytime a surface or polysurface is completely closed. Everything was working fine, but recently if I try to extrude anything (closed curves that are in-plane with one another and solid=yes) it is hollow. A solid is a surface or polysurface that encloses a volume. I'm not sure if I just messed up something with my settings accidentally, or what is going on, but I literally cannot create any solid objects anymore unless I use the box tool. ![]() Hello, I am fairly new to Rhino but have been using it for the past semester at school, so please bear with me if I am just missing something totally obvious, but I am starting to get very frustrated with this problem.
